Dino Brombo from fifties has always
worked on art. He worked always alone for himself. He did not want to increase
the crowd of daubsters. During the seventies he introduced one of his works
to Bevilacqua La Masa, but it was rejected. Today looking at that work he
says Bevilacqua la Masa was right.
The artist made decorative panels
into his home and into the sister's home. Dino Brombo recently begin painting
again. He had a show in Sottomarina in August 2008. He takes part with two
works to the show of the cultural circle Renato Nardi in Giudecca.
Curator's Advice:
The artist faces the hazardous
world of abstract art. The cromatic effect he obtains with this work is very
enjoyable. Colours are well balanced and they have a inner and mysterious
order. More than one reading level does exist.
Initially you can appreciate just
the formal balance; then you can feel some naturalistics signs. Here you
are highlights of water, light and fire. Besides this limit there is the
content matter. It is a irrationalistic fugue to the sign, to the pure gesture.
The artist wants to get rid of
human structures and he wants to reach the instinct the simply visual emotion
of the inner child. There is also something else into this indisputable trend.
In spite of the irrationalistic aspect the painting reweals some balances
that we can realize.
That means a positive message is
getting directly from the world of emotion. This world is able to build a
comprehensible contest for humans and humans can coexist with it. This world
could be based on poetry and harmony of the elements themselfs. |
