Maria Elisa Zoccarato was born in 1952 in Vigodarzere Padova. She obtained the Diploma at the Art Institute Amedeo Modigliani of Padova. She works as painter for the art studio "Segno e Colore" of Cadoneghe from 1996. She attended to a specialistic course of fresco. She was charmed by this kind of technique so she made copies of great artists of the past, and original works. During this period she felt more by more the call to examine closely other techniques. The artist took part to some interesting events of art in Padova and near.

Curator's Advice:

This is a very good nude. Title is like the book of Khaled Hosseini. It is made with expertise and knowledge of technique. You can appreciate the cromatic alteration that supports the figure's lyricims and strain. The reference to the great modern painting is due. Lautrec, Boccioni, Klimt, seem to be inspirators of this picture.

The flaunted aestheticism is near to a current vision of female sensuality. Here the eroticism seems to compress psyche. The eroticism becomes a great positive strenght into the female body. This strenght needs contemplation and desire, absolute passion and devotion.

It is a figurative tribute to the abstractionism impulsivity of other artists into this exhibition. It is the positive side of human instinct that leads to the unique aspect that is the erotic feeling. It is an abyss opened on joys and sorrows. It can be as discreet as overwhelming, as shallow as spiritual.
